boy.  for sure!

The Dictator is so happy!  he really wanted a little brother.  i really thought it was a girl, but alas, i was wrong.  it’s cool though.  at least i know boys!

i’m pretty excited that i’m halfway done with pregnancy.  it sucks ass.  plus, i can’t wait to meet my new son.  i seem to have given away most of D’s baby clothes but fortunately i have friends who have little boys and are planning on giving me tons of clothes.

i have however, spent about $250 on cloth diapers and wraps thus far.  but honestly, it is nothing compared to how much we spent on disposables with D.  he wasn’t potty trained until he was almost 3 1/2.  so let’s see, average of $20/week for let’s just say, 3 years (because it did vary and wasn’t always 1 box a week, just an average).  so 156 weeks x $20 = $3,120!!  holy shit that sounds high!!!!! ok, it can’t possibly be that much.  i know he slowed down on the diaper use as he got older, so i might be willing to knock it down to maybe $2000.  still, that is freaking REDICULOUS!  we will be saving a bundle by doing cloth.  plus, i feel better not contributing all those diapers to landfills.

but that’s enough about the stuff that is going to catch my son’s poop.

so now we are on to discussing names for the baby boy.  i already know what i like.  D’s name is kind of celtic in nature so i would like our new boy’s name to be celtic too.  i don’t want something usual but my husband doesn’t want something TOO unusual.  anyway, i might hold off on telling you all what name we decide on until he gets here.  but rest assured, you will get told.  and then i’ll have to come up with a good evil super-villain name to use for him on this blog.  mwa-haha!!
