wow. how long has it been?

i’m so sorry if anyone has felt abandoned by my blog.  truth is, i guess i needed to jump ship for a bit.  but now my energy is returning, i don’t constantly feel like throwing up, and summer is knocking on the door threatening to roast me like a cornish game hen and new potatoes.

ok, so that last one wasn’t so much a reason to get back to the keyboard, but just a truism.

first thing is first though.  the baby is doing well as far as we can tell.  it is too early to know if it is a boy or a girl.  my husband is hoping for a girl, the Dictator is hoping for a boy, and i’m hoping for a healthy baby.  my dreams have been telling me it is a girl though, so i am anxious to find out if my intuition is right.  but for now we shall be referring to the little one as BABY X.

you know, i’m having a hard go of this blogging thing today because 1-pregnancy brain sucks and everything i think of writing i have a hard time putting into words, and 2-the Dictator keeps interrupting me.

so i just made chocolate pudding and jello.  maybe the sugar will help. probably not, but i feel better!!

in other news, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium a few weeks ago and had a blast!  they have a seahorse exhibit right now that is AWESOME!   well worth going to see if you have a chance.  plus the jellies are super cool.

i think i look more fat than pregnant in the picture, but i suppose we are our own worst enemies.  it’s how it goes with second kids though, you start to show a whole hell of a lot faster.

the Dictator had a great time at the aquarium too.  he loved the area that simulated a wave crashing into the rocks.

and he got to spend some quality time with daddy.  (daddy who works super hard during the week and is often pretty tired during the weekends)

ok, soooo what else…

i don’t know.  i watch too much daytime television these days.  the Dictator LOVES the Ellen Show, so we end up watching that almost daily.  it’s pretty funny to watch him dance to the beginning songs.  i’d post video, but i think i deleted it because it wasn’t very good quality.  that will be changing soon though when our new camcorder comes in the mail.  i decided we needed to get one to video the kids together.  they will only be little once.  i want to take advantage of it.  plus, i need good blackmail material for when they get older.

i also joined twitter recently.  i’m still trying to figure it out.  i might put a badge up on the site so you all can follow me.  i’m probably just as boring there as i am here.  so really, it’s up to you.

one more thing, if you have left me a comment in the last month or so and it is not showing up, it might have fallen into my spam folder and been deleted.  sorry, but there were 570+ spam comments and i just do not have the will to go through all that.  comment again and i’ll try not to let it slip through.

ok, so that’s all for me today.  i will TRY very hard to post more regularly.  i know it is the way to get and keep readers.  i’m just…lazy.  no real excuse besides lazy.  i’m not gonna lie.
