VAY-CAY!

in a few short days i will be headed out, leaving this country.  (but not the continent.  it still counts though.  i still need a passport.)  i am SO excited!  with any luck, i will see the northern lights and some really bright stars.  but the BEST part is that i will get to hang out with some very good friends for a week!   w00t!!

i met Danger while backpaking in Scotland in 2001.  because we got on so famously, i ended up staying in Edinburgh an extra week.  i have visited her in Winnipeg, and she has come to California to visit me. the last time we saw eachother, i was pregnant with the Dictator and she had no children.  now she has 2 girls.  it will be so cool to meet her girls!!!  they are positively ADORABLE.  i am going to try to arrange a marriage. i would LOVE to have them as inlaws!!  (just kidding, but not really.  wouldn’t it be great if we could pick the family we end up being related to?)

this time we are going to meet in British Columbia.  high in the Rockies. i am super stoked about where we are going.  hot springs, glaciers, trees, fresh air, no forest fires, it will be heavenly.

BUT DO NOT DISPAIR DEAR READERS!  i have arranged for some really cool guest bloggers for you!!  w00t!   i am grateful to the people that have volunteered their valuable time to write something for me while i’m gone.  be sure to check out their websites too.  i will have intermittent internet, so i’ll be checking in and maybe posting a few picks, but my priorities will be to relax and have a great time.  we all need it.

    hey Ophmac! i was wondering where you had gone off to! i hope you had a great trip.

    bag production has not yet happened. :( i have just been too busy trying to get a place that i could work (ie: sewing room). and of course, now we are going to be gone…maybe i will try to sneak in some late night sewing tonight.

    i meant to ask, what kind of bag would you like me to make for you? one like the messenger bag in the video or more of a tote? (like for grocery shopping or something)

    Definitely a messenger bag, dark color (grey or black). If you want to include some sort of decoration is OK to use colors as long as it is not girly ;) :P

    Take your time do not worry.
