busy…

i’ve been busy, but i have gotten a lot done!  sewing room is coming along nicely.  i’m getting a work table (hopefully) tomorrow and with the money that i (hopefully) make at my yard sale on saturday, i will get to buy a new chair.  or at least, new to me.

i bought a peg board and painted it with leftover paint from our other room painting project(s).  it turned out really cute.  i hope you can get a sense from the picture.

i also bought an ironing board wall hangy thing, which i beleive is the technical term for it, and my ironing board and iron are now safely out of my way.  no more will it be used for a desk and entry way catch-all.  no more.

i also especially like how my peg board immediately shaped up to look like something one would find at a bead store that sold a bit of sewing stuff. seriously, i have SO MANY BEADS.  i need to start beading again.  it will be nice to have a place to do it, out of the path of cats, kids, and terrible monsters that make dinosaur noises and eat dinosaur food and who have “king sticks” to make them the KING of all wild things.  (as if he were not already.)

i should note that these are just my seed beads.  i have a stack of flat boxes with tons more beads.  i need my BFF over to organize them for me.  she’s a little OCD like that. 

i keep thinking of reasons to torture myself with photoshop.  here i decided to see how adding a table would look:

this one wouldn’t work to well, as the surface doesn’t seem very solid.
