hmmm…
Posted by andromeda*art on June 11th, 2008 filed in randomnessi’ve been trying to blog everyday since i finished out the semester. for some reason…hmm. i don’t know. today i am at a loss.
i could blog about the carpets i shampooed today. but it was kinda gross… i found another dog spread among the carpets. i love vacuuming. i love the instant gratification i get from vacuuming. i especially love shampooing carpets. it’s like vacuuming, but cleaner. i love to see the water turn black and know that the carpet was dirty, and now it is not. yes, i am strange. haven’t i told you that before?
i could blog about The Dictator “helping” me look for a necessary bedtime item by running in circles and “sliding” into home-plate. but, i won’t.
i could blog about the tasty pork chops the husband made for dinner, but do you really care? i doubt it.
oh, i have recently discovered the NPR joy that is the Bryant Park Project. it’s on the satellite radio too early for me to catch in the way to school, but today i had to take my car in for scheduled service, so i was out the door in time to catch most of the program on the way into the dealership. today they were interviewing a guy who wrote an adult “choose your own adventure” book. of course,, he can’t actually call it that. someone owns that saying. instead it is a “just make a choice adventure”. the title is You are a Miserable Excuse for a Hero. I will have to check that out.
by the way, the Pontiac G5 has HORRIBLE blind spots. i do not recommend the car to anybody. had to drive one today while the car was in the shop.
and one more thing. my very best friend’s mom is sick and in the hospital and we are all worried. send some good vibes her way to make a safe a speedy recovery. (despite the fucking night nurse’s best efforts to see otherwise.)

Stumble it!

Horrible blind spots must be a common feature of modern cars. I have a Yaris (I do not believe they sell anything that small in the US), and it has appalling blinds spots too.
(Good luck to your friend’s mom.)

we have the toyota yaris here. is that what you drive? i think car manf. don’t always test the cars they make! my car, a passat station wagon, is new and there aren’t bad blind spots, but if the windows are cracked at all and there is water outside (raining, wiper fluid), the water comes straight inside and falls on the automatic window switches and shorts them out. it sucks. i love to drive with the windows cracked when it is raining, but not when it is pouring down inside!

You do have small cars then! When I came to the US I have not seen any though.

oh we have them, it’s just up until recently, people around here preferred to get the super large vehicles to accommodate their huge asses. the rising fuel prices have actually made people stop buying such gigantic cars.
