1 w00t and a few oh shits.

just got word best friend’s mom will be A-OK!  i don’t want to go into specifics, because it is not my place, but i am SUPER-DUPER stoked that she will be ok.  w00t!

and as i sat down to write this, i get a text from high school english teacher friend and her school caught fire today.  well, the FFA barn area caught fire and many animals had to be evacuated.  when i asked what started it her reply was “probably some ass hat threw a smoke out in the grass on the highway”.  i love it.  ass hat.  i will have to use that more often.  she vows to not smoke in the car again.  i am just going to try not to smoke again.   soon.  real soon.  i don’t want to be jonesing for a smoke on out 2 day car trek to British Columbia this august.

i also learned that there are more fires in the santa cruz mountains.  this is bad.  i have friends there.

and there is a fire outside chico.  i know lots of people there too.

california is a burning.  and fire season hasn’t really begun yet.  usually, fires like this start around july.

do you think the midwest would mind sending us some of their water?  i hear chicago is getting rid of lakes.
